Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Yojana was launched by the then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Under this scheme, the government will provide cooking gas cylinders to the beneficiary women for Rs 450.

To avail of the benefit of this scheme, women have to go to the place where they are applying for the Ladli Behna Scheme. Beneficiary women will be able to get 12 cylinders in 1 year and that too at only ₹ 450 per cylinder.

The most important thing about the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is that there will be no impact of an increase or decrease in gas prices on this scheme. Beneficiary women will be able to get the cylinder for only ₹ 450.

• Women who already have a gas connection in their name will be given the benefit of this scheme.
• Under this scheme, women will need to pay only ₹ 450 to fill a gas cylinder.
• Under this scheme, women will be able to get a maximum of 12 cylinders in a year and every time they will have to pay only ₹ 450.
• With the launch of this scheme, poor women and deprived families will benefit a lot.
• If a woman gets one cylinder repaired within a month, she will also get a subsidy of ₹ 300 directly into her bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer mode.
• To avail of the benefits of this scheme, eligible women can register themselves on the Laadli Brahmin portal.
• The government has also made a budget provision of Rs 1200 crore for this scheme.
• The government has said that registered beneficiaries can get their information from the portal.

1. The benefit of Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Yojana will be given only to women native to Madhya Pradesh
2. Sisters of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana are also eligible for this scheme.
3. Women who are beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana are also eligible for this scheme
4. Only those women are eligible for this scheme whose bank account is linked to an AADHAR card and in whose name the family has a gas connection.
5.  Only poor women in Madhya Pradesh are eligible for the scheme.
