Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer Grade C Recruitment 2024

To be eligible for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024, all the candidates need to fulfill the following criteria:

Nationality:

  • The candidate must be either a citizen of India, Subject to Bhutan or Nepal.
  • Candidates, who are Tibetan refugees and settled in India before 1 January 1962 to settle permanently in India
  • A person who has arrived from Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle.

Age Limit:

For the Grade C post, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years as of 01.07.2024. Age relaxation is applicable for the reserved categories according to the rules of the Indian Government.

Education Qualification:

To appear for the Grade C post, it is mandatory to have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.

Physical Fitness:

The candidates shouldn’t have any kind of physical defect or weakness because, in these situations, isn’t able to discharge their duties properly.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should not find guilty in any of the court law in the criminal cases, including moral turpitude.
  • The candidate should never be deprived of any government service.
  • The candidate shouldn’t be engaged in false practices or any business that makes money.
  • The candidate should have good character and posses enough of the morality and integrity.

Overview Of SSC Stenographer Exam

As per the SSC Stenographer exam pattern, there are two stages altogether and both are commenced online. Only the qualified aspirant of the primary stage will be called for the second stage of the exam. The first exam is in the written format and on stage 2 the SSC stenographer skill will be tested. The written exam consists of 200 marks, in which 200 objective types of questions will be asked. The exam will last two hours.

SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern for General Intelligence (Reasoning)

The General Intelligence Test (GIT) is a type of psychometric testing that is widely used by corporate employers and the government to help evaluate candidates during the recruitment process. The term ‘psychometric’ simply means ‘measuring mental ability,’ and logical reasoning tests are designed to assess your nonverbal abilities.
