Steps for Online Application for SSC CGL 2024
Step 1: Visit the SSC official website- ssc.nic.in and log in using your logging information, complete the captcha, and thereafter log into the homepage.
Step 2: After logging in, click the Apply Now button and choose the SSC CGL from the examinations tab.
Step 3: Find the Apply Now button beneath the SSC CGL Exam tab and click it.
Step 4: The SSC CGL Application Form will show up on the screen. Fill it out with the relevant details and choose the location of the exam.
Step 5: After completing the Application Form, double-check the data because SSC will not accept any changes made after the final submission.
Step 6: Upload your signature and photo in compliance with SSC guidelines.
Step 7: Complete the SSC CGL application procedure by making the necessary online fee payments.
Important Note: The candidates should save 8–10 copies of the photo they submitted online since they will need it for later in the exam.

SSC CGL Eligibility
The age range for candidates in the General Category for the SSC CGL is 18 to 32 years old. Still, under government regulations, people from reserved categories are granted age relaxations. Additionally, the nationality requirements are mentioned below:
- To apply for the SSC CGL exam, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Applicants who are nationals of Bhutan or Nepal are also eligible to apply for the test. They must, however, want to stay in India permanently and provide the necessary documentation to support their candidature.
- Examinees may include Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, to settle there permanently.
- “Persons of Indian Origin” (PIO) are candidates who are of Indian heritage but came from East African countries, Pakistan, Burma, or Sri Lanka.
Education Qualification of SSC CGL

Essential Requirements: It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Any of the following qualifications would be desirable: Careers such as Master of Business Studies, Master of Business Economics, Master of Cost and Management Accounting, Master of Chartered Accountancy, and Company Secretary are available.
Junior Statistical Officer, abbreviated JSO
It is necessary to have an undergraduate degree in any field and at least a 60% grade in mathematics from class 12 or to have taken statistics as one of their themes.
Level II Statistical Analyst
It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized college or university, with statistics being one of the subjects.
